Laoise (Louise) - Personalized white ceramic mug with Irish name Laoise (Lynx Design)

Laoise comes from the Irish for "light", can be pronounced "lee-sha" and is an Irish equivalent for Lucy or Louise.

All elements are hand-drawn and include Celtic designs and calligraphy. The edges are Celtic knot-work, as inspired by traditional art and the Book of Kells.

The letter L is decorated with a Eurasian lynx (lincse in Irish). Although there are no wild lynx in Ireland today, it is thought that they once roamed Ireland and at some point in history became extinct. Initially it was thought that lynx never made it to Ireland, but in 1934 a lynx bone was found in a cave in County Waterford.
